ReBirth for the iPhoneOS

It’s amazing to see the software that started the revolution make a comeback in a slightly different format, the iPhone OS. So… I’m not exactly sure what to say about this. Playing with the ReBirth app for a little while has made me quite nostalgic and has brought back a lot memories. ReBirth and the Propellerheads have been such an important part of my life for over a decade; this website probably would not be here and I would probably be going down a different path in life. Ok, I shall stop before I get too sentimental. I’m not sure if ReBirth will have the same life changing effect on your life, but you can try for yourself!

How does this look on the iPad? Worth buying or is it better suited for the phone?

it looks better on the iPhone, even at the native resolution on the iPad, the graphics rendering is pixelated. From a distance with bad vision (soft focus) though, it looks alright
For me, however, it’s easier to use on the iPad, despite the graphics. I hope this is something that will be addressed in an iPad native version, but I can’t say with any certainty.

This is great!
I noticed that mods *are* supported, which is nice, but two questions come up:
1) Where is Axiom Peace?!
2) When can we build our own?
Sounds like ReBirth on the iPhone is missing some key Peff influence.

It’s really out of my hands. If i had a choice between full mod support versus an iPad native version, I would support the latter.
AXP on the iPhone app would be nice, but I think I would probably get more use out of Polar or TB2.

Rebirthapp outputting audio and saving sessions?
hey does anyone know if it’s possible to save sessions (songs) made in the new rebirthapp and can files be used with the desktop version?
Also , would audio just be routed out of the iphone using a stereo 1/8 inch plug?
